If you still think "Netflix and chill" is actually about relaxing while binge watching "Orange is the New Black " or "House of Cards," think again.
Instead, "Netflix and chill" has become code for hooking up.
Social media analytics company Sysomos took a look at the term's rise in popularity on Twitter.
Averaging tweets from the last six months, Sysomos found the term was used approximately 908 times per hour.
Sysomos also took a geographic look at the term, finding out where people are the most obsessed with getting their "Netflix and chill" on — or at least tweeting about it.
At the top of the list, the United States accounted for 69% of all "Netflix and chill" mentions online. Meanwhile, our Canadian neighbors to the north only made up 3.5%.
