"The Perfection," a new horror movie starring Allison Williams on Netflix, is making viewers physically ill.

The film, which was released by the streaming service on Friday, sees Williams play a cellist named Charlotte who travels to Shanghai for a competition, where she meets Lizzie, a fellow musician played by Logan Browning.

Shortly after departing on a road trip together, the characters encounter bodily horror that has left viewers shocked and "nauseous."

In the first of many "disgusting" scenes, Lizzie projectile vomits while on a bus. If that weren't graphic enough, it is then revealed the vomit is crawling with maggots.

The scene, and many others including one which sees bugs crawling under the skin, has led many people to feel "physically sick."

"Have you all watched 'The Perfection' on Netflix? Because I'm sick to my stomach," one person wrote on Twitter.

Another said: "'The Perfection' on Netflix is SICK...in a bad way ugh my body can't move and I feel like puking."

"I rarely get squeamish but holy f--- the movie "The Perfection" is making me want to throw up," someone else said.

Despite the grossness of the film, many viewers have said it is worth watching till the end.

"I actually feel physically sick after watching The Perfection," one person wrote. "I couldn't take the bugs man. I was about to turn the movie off but I'm glad I didn't, the ending was good," someone wrote.

According to Williams, the bus scene in the horror movie was inspired by a real experience director Richard Shepard went through.

"A big portion of that came from Richard's experience of being sick in Mexico on a bus," the "Get Out" actress told People. "And it's just so viscerally relatable and horrifying and of course in our movie it takes a turn that you're not really expecting."
